Are these straps made in the USA?
Yes. As long as we can be successful with our production in the USA, we’d prefer to keep the jobs here. Moreover, our straps require a higher level of craftsmanship compared with the average factory product, and we’ve been lucky enough to find some of the most skilled artisans right here in San Diego to help us out. One of our biggest goals is to support our local community, so when you purchase a Riley G camera strap, know you are supporting dozens of small local businesses.
Do you offer skinnier straps?
Not at this time, in the near future, we will be offering a line of skinny straps which will be 1.25″ wide instead of our standard 2″ width. Please stay tuned!

Can I order a strap without the quick release buckles?
Every strap comes standard with the quick-release buckles. We have never had a customer report an incident of accidental release. If you prefer, we can build your strap without them. This will be a custom strap. Please contact us with this request and we will process your custom strap order. Keep in mind, these straps will take an additional 15 working days to ship out as we don’t keep any of these in-stock.
Can I order a Superloop connected strap without the quick release buckles?
Nope. It would be mechanically impossible to connect your camera. The only connectors available for straps without buckles is the webbing connectors.
How do I connect a Riley G strap to my camera?
Our standard strap comes with 3/8″ webbing with a plastic ladder-lock and strap keeper. This matches the webbing on the original strap that came with your camera. This webbing threads into the rings or lugs on your camera. We also offer a special order SuperLoop option. This removes your ability to adjust the length of your strap, however, less cumbersome and completely secure.
What are these Superloop connectors?
The Superloops are an alternative to the 3/8″ webbing connection. The Superloops are great because of their low profile and secure connection. The drawback is that they replace the 3/8″ webbing, removing the ability to adjusting the length of your strap. We offer them in two lengths: the regular Superloop connector brings your total strap length to 42″ and the Long Superloop Connector brings your total strap length to 50″.
When will my camera strap arrive?
For non-custom orders. Your strap(s) will be shipped next business day. That means, we must receive the strap by 12:00am in order to ship out the following day. We ship USPS, so most shipments will arrive within three business days. If you selected overnight shipping, we still have a 12:00am cutoff time. Custom orders can take up to ten (10) business days.
These straps look cool, but are they comfortable?
Yes. We use the softest suede we can find and sew 100% natural soft pig suede to the entire back of the strap. The vinyl is quite soft and provides plenty of cushion. If the strap is uncomfortable for you, simply return the strap, along with the packing slip and we will gladly refund the full price of the strap.
I have some extra webbing, can I cut it off?
Yes. We leave plenty of webbing for those you carry their cameras long, but that extra webbing can get in the way. Be sure to leave a few inches of extra webbing, then cut at an angle using a pair of scissors. Be sure to burn the end with an open flame to prevent fraying.
How do you ship international orders?
We ship all orders United States Postal Service. USPS which is 6-10 days and does not include a tracking number. FedEx and UPS shipments are trackable and start at $80.
Will your straps connect to my Hassy?
The Hassy is a bit tricky as we don’t carry those metal clips. We have had customers purchase an old used Hassy strap, then cut the old leather/plastic strap off of the metal pieces, then lace a metal ring into the Hassy clip, then lace our strap into the metal ring. You could put our strap directly into the Hassy clip, but it can cut the webbing over time.
